Repsol Honda dominate the opening MotoGP round at the Qatar Grand Prix

Champagne is flowing for Repsol Honda as all three riders finish in the top four of the opening race

Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa

The only three-rider team competing in the 2011 MotoGP season pulled a wheelie with two podiums and all three finishing in the top four spots at the opening race in Qatar. An exciting and eventful race left opportunities for all the riders to made their way up the grid. But Australian rider Casey Stoner, bagged his first 24th win of his career, a brilliant start with his new team as the first win of the season puts himself and Honda in the top spot for the championship standings.
Team-mates Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso were extremely pleased with the results, with Pedrosa taking third from Yamaha rider and reigning champion Jorge Lorenzo, and third Honda rider, Dovizioso taking fourth.
Casey Stoner leads the 2011 championship with 25 points from Jorge Lorenzo with 20 and Dani Pedrosa with 16, giving Repsol Honda a strong advantage. Can they continue to dominate the leader board as MotoGP heads to Spain for the next round?
